Hi my name is Tom Fletcher. I am looking for my b-mom/dad and any possible siblings.I was born in ST. Francis hospital in Port Jervis. I have been told that my B-mom's name was Patricia and that she had auburn red colored hair. My adoptive parents are Richard + Cisley Fletcher of Hurley N.Y. They both grew up in Port Jervis. My b-mom lived with my a-parents for the last 4-5 months of her pregnancy. She then lived with my grandparents (Hans + Iva Lindholm ) in Port Jervis for the last week of her pregnancy. This leads me to believe that my b-mom was probably a teenager from the tri-state area of either NY, PA, or NJ. With my grandmother being a nurse at the time at St. Francis I believe this was a private adoption. Any info would be VERY grateful. PLEASE contact me at jetsyanks@hotmail.com with ANY info.

hello, i was hoping you could help us in our search the sister that we are looking for also an adoptee was born 1964 in st.francis hospital in portjervis ny.does it say the name of the hospital on your b-cert? is the name of the dr.who deliverd you on it ? is it somthing like mury? do you no what court was used to finalise your adoption or what town?do you no the name of an agency used?we were hoping if you could share this info it may help us in our search,we were not sure if adoptee's b-cert would acutaly show the real name of the hospital child was born in,as well as we thought maybe the court back then used for adoption in port would be in goshen ny, orange county fam court.there were 2 hospitals in port back then sunny side and st.francis i did call town clerk for port she told me if adoptee knows there real full birth name and dob they could say they lost there b-cert and apply for one with that info.wich maybe would be helpfull in your situ but that info was given off the record.good luck and hope you can help....thanks margie
