we are searching for adoptee born in 1964 st.francis hospital orange county n.y we are in procces of trying to rule in or out another adoptee born 1964 in port jervis n.y her last name at birth was turner,the sister we are looking for was born to gloria warren,we would assume the adoption was done through the orange county cort's in goshen n.y. that is where most adoptee's from orange county had to go through to make adoption finale.we were told that a possible birth name of who we are searching fo is darleen marie.the birth mom gloria her d-o-b was dec,1942 she was one of 18 children.she had brown hair,blue eye's.possible birth father had brown hair green eye's.we thought if the other adoptee last name turner born aug.1964 had another match then we could rule her in or out.as of now we can nither rule her out because we do not know if our mother used an alias at the birth.if you need help with info on orange county or port jervis i live near there e-mail me with you private e-mail and i will help in any way i can.

Even though the adoptee you seek was born in Orange County... it would ONLY be finalized there, IF that was the county that the adoptive parents lived in!! She would know (for sure) the county she was born, but not necessarily the city, depending on her Amended BC. Here are some good sites for NY & the 1960s..

Dear laura, do you no if it is possible that your birth year is not original?do you have any birth mother info ? have you applied for non-id info?this is what i can tell you for sure we are searching for adoptee born portjervis st.francis hospital between jan and feb 1964 or 1965 birth mother was born dec,6 1942 her name was gloria.she came from a verry large familey.she had blond brown hair and blue eyes she was around 5'6.it is belived but not sure adoptee was given the birth name darlene warren ,gloria was my mother in-law i am helping my sister in law to find her adoptee sister, also i have been on thease sights a long time and i do remember a birth mom searching for a female with similur info only that child was born in sunny side hospital portjervis deerpark ny, that hospital burned down years ago, i would like to keep in touch and see what we can find out have you registerd with ny state adoption registry?my e-mail is margaretdickens@hotmail.com hope to hear from you soon.margie
