My birth name was Elisa Santiago. Born April 8,1977. I am looking for my birth fathers family. My father died about 1983-1985 not sure what year. His name was Elisamuel Santiago, he has a brother Luis. I was born in Manhatten,NY. I found my B/M already but she doesn't knw much about the where abouts of my fathers family, she doesn't have any pics of him either. I was told Luis's last address was in Hackensack NJ. My birth parents lived with him just b4 I was born. Please if you have any information send me a message ASAP. I have my original birth certificate and its cerificate number if anyone out there can help maybe that can help you.

I also have a letter, that I have given to a couple people looking for "would be" relatives. It is non-identifying & gets them curious enough to reply back. If you want a copy, please let me know, I will PM it to you. I looked up the name on switchboard.com & there were like 20 or so "luis" in NJ. I'd write to each one. Just my opinion. That is what I did & with a more common last name. Thanks...

if you go to the ny library in manhattan, ask for the birth index books...look up the certificate number, you birthlast name will be in it, if you don't already know. also..try to find a search angel. you can look up search angels on the web,ask one to help. they found my husbamnds b/m for free, they do not charge for their time. they have alot of knowledge and access to many birth indexes and other info we wouldn't

i apologize i didnt realize you knew his last name..what i would do is write a letter print in mass quantity and send to every one, also have you tried looking up the phone numbers on the whitepages? i am in nj i could help you search if you'd like.

My fathers name Elisamuel Santiago. His Year of birth was 1938. He died on the streets of Manhattan as far as I know. Near the port bus terminal. It could have been any where between 1982 - 1984. His last address was that my birth Mother remembers was on 43rd street between 8th and 9th avenues.
His brother was Louis and he lived in Hackensack NJ. He also had a sister Sonia, but I don’t have any info on them really. Louis was my godfather.
I was Baptized at sacred heart in Manhattan, 51st street between 9th and 10th avenues.

i am not sure if this is family but i use to date this guy by the name of heriberto santiago he has a uncle by the name of jose luis santiago it is a really big family they r from lawrence massachusetts. i hope that could be some kind of help
