Post Just Looking 1974 Jamestown N.D.

I was born in Jamestown N.D. on March 8, 1974 and am just curious about my background. I was adopted through the Village. I would be very interested in meeting my birth parents but if they have no interest, that is accepted as well. I have a half brother that was rumored to live in Fargo N.D. and is about 30 or 31. Maybe more sibblings. I have no more info. My birth name was Derrick. Any clues would be apprieciated. Thanks

re: Searching

Do you have any other info about your birthparents... names, age, birthplace, etc? ~Sharon

I'm sorry, I really have nothing. I contacted the Village but they wanted quite a sum of money to help me. I realized that it would cost something but at the time I really was a little nervous and figured that no one would want to meet me after all these years with no attempts by either side. The adoption was a good thing but I always wanted to find out about especially any sibblings. Kind of like a needle in a haystack. A big haystack. I just figured maybe I could get lucky. Probably not but worth the try. Thanks

New info on Jamestown N.D. Adoption

Alright, I'm back after a few years of nothing. Well, someone leaked a name that they probably should never seen on a document back in 1976 when I was adopted. For privacy issues, I'll just say her name was Sharon J. Not letting out her full last name until we get somewhere. The most important thing here is there is nothing but respect and admiration for this person for allowing me life when it could have been so easy to go another way. Whoever you are, I'd love to meet you and ask some medical questions some other history, and maybe introduce you to a certain little guy (my son) that we all are so proud of. Thanks, Nate. (formally named Derrick)
