Not Sure...Wild Guess/Whereabouts of BF~1980 something

I am looking for a birthfather who would be 39 or 40, today. His baby was born and adopted in West Texas. This birthfather might be in the restaurant business of some kind.(He said he wanted to do that as an adult)I don't know that he is from NM or ever lived here...but NM is close to TX.

just a wild guess.
