Looking for u
Dear Mom,
I just had another Birthday, and I couldn't help but to wonder if you or my father was thinking about me. This world is small. Have I ever passed you on the street? Do I know someone who knows you? I always assumed after I turned 18, we would magically find each other. I know now you have a new life. You might be married and have kids. You might even be a soccer mom, with a mini-van. You left me with very loving parents, I wouldn't have ask for a better pair. I know you did the right thing for us. There's no telling who we would be if you did keep me. Giving me to my parents was a very noble act. I admire you for that. I love you, always will. I hope wherever you are that you are happy. But please know not a day goes by that I don't think of you. Love, Your Baby Girl 3-15-79 Albuquerque New Mexico |

I'm sorry that I can't help you but maybe you can help me
Hi,
I'm sory to bother you but I have to try. I couldn't help but to notice that you were from Albuquerque, and you were born in 79. I have an older sister that was born in Albuquerque in the middle 70's that I've been looking for for about a week now. My mom told me about her while she was in the hospital and was in critical condition. I guess she thought that it would be here death bead. So she dropped the news. I couldn't believe it. I don't have much information about her. Just a birthday, place of birth and our mom and dad's name. I realy don't even know where else to look. I live in San Diego. I'm in the military and can't realy go to Albuquerque any time soon, but ever since I foud out about her I can't get her off my mind. Any advice would be great. Thanks for your time and good luck. To someones daughter,
Your letter made me cry. Today is my son's 20th birthday. I have posted on these forums since he turned 18 and it was legal for him to search. I can tell you that as a mother who put her son up for adoption, there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him. For 20 years, I cannot do anything on this day of his birth because I sit home and suffer crying jags, stuck in my mind back at that day. For 18 years, I thought magically we would be united as well. I know from reading that many BMoms are just like me. We grieve and we remember and we pray for the day of uniting. Every thanksgiving I would scan the people in the parade looking to see if I could spot a boy who looked like me. Chances are your BMom is the same. Just don't give up hope. Today, March 21, 2006, I remain, sad in Schaumburg..
