Adoption Tax Credit and Turbo Tax?

Has anyone used Turbo Tax and claimed the adoption tax credit? Just wanted to know before I go out and buy the thing...

We just installed our copy today. My husband said he'll check when he starts doing our taxes - probably today or tomorrow. I'll let you know.

I haven't used TurboTax but if it was a state adoption and you didn't incur any costs, the child has to be qualified as special needs (which the IRS deems via the existence of subsidy) to claim the credit.

One of the first questions it asked was if we'd added a child via birth or adoption, and has separate options for birth & adoption - looks like it will handle the adoption tax credit.

I'm also on a different foster care board, and according to all of them, TurboTax handled the adoption tax credit correctly last year, so they assume it will handle it correctly this year as well.

I used it last year and it was great. It even carried over what we didn't use last year and applied it to this year.
