Adolph Hitler . . .
Anyone know what's going on with this? I remember reading about the birthday cake debacle.

Rumors abound. Among them is that the family got a number of threats through the birthday cake publicity that made it unsafe for the kids to be in the home--not so much because of the parents, but because of the outside threats.
But honestly, NO CLUE if that one has any merit.

This is what News12 had on their site
(01/14/09) HOLLAND TOWNSHIP - Officials say three children named after Nazi figures, who were removed by the Department of Youth and Family Services late last week, are still in the agency’s custody. Holland Township Police Chief David Van Gilson says his department doesn’t know why 3-year-old Adolf Hitler Campbell and his two little sisters, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie, were removed from their parents’ Hunterdon County home. The Campbells made headlines last month when a bakery refused to write their son’s name on a birthday cake. Gilson says police have never been called to the home for allegations of child abuse, but have been called to the home before on noise and domestic related issues between Heath Campbell and his former wives. He adds that in this instance, Heath and Deborah Campbell were very cooperative. A hearing regarding the children’s placement is scheduled for Thursday.

I just saw this on the news. How sad for the kids.
I also had another though- how ironic would it be if the kids were placed with an African American, Hispanic, or Jewish foster family? |

I was kind of wondering if anyone here recently got a sibling group of three blondies...
Well I had read a lot about them when the story first came out and in one of the articles it briefly mentioned some involvement from the state in the past (namely that DYFS said they couldn't have swastikas on their car as it posed a safety threat to the children) so...who knows what was going on there. I think they sound like vile people but I hope there was a legitimate reason for taking the kids away.

In the first article, it stated that the DYFS had been to the home several times in the past. I guess we will never know for sure since everything is "supposed" to be confidential.
Like the previous poster said, I hope they have nicknames. And I also hope that this has not made the kids "bad" kids. They seems sweet on video.
