I loved my PRIDE classes. I trained with Just Babies, not DYFS, so I don't know what the classes run by DYFS are like. My classes were so interesting- lots of different types of people spoke (adoptive parents, foster parents, birth parents, CASA workers) and it was so nice to be with other people who were so excited to be foster parents!! I hope your classes are as great as mine were! You are on the beginning of an amazing journey.

Just Babies was my first choice

but just couldn't work out the scheduling! We're in So. Monmouth County and we have three active kids (one of whom is autistic!) I have spoken to Pat from Just Babies and she provided a wealth of info. I hope these classes go well! Thanks for your encouragament!

Good luck with the classes!! I start mine at Just babies on 1/21. I couldnt bare to have to deal with DYFS so I worked it out. How many classes do you have to take for DYFS? Is it every tuesday for so many weeks?

Our Pride classes are every Tuesday and

Thursday from 6-9 for 4 weeks. I'm very anxious to begin and dreading dealing with DYFS too! I've heard such horror stories and I just hope our experiences won't add to them!
