letter of intent to adopt

has anyone written a letter to court about your desire to adopt your foster child? I think its called a letter of intent to adopt. I need to write one and was wondering what to put in it. Thanks!

Write about your love for this child, how long he has lived with you, how well he fits into your family, how he has blossomed in your care, what you have done to assist his growth, development, and well-being, and what your plans are for this child's future. No right or wrong answers, really, unless you say you plan to keep him tied in the basement and throw him scraps of raw meat. Just let your love and tender care shine through.

Just write from the heart. Let your love shine through. Be specific about what the child means to you and what you and your family can give to the child. The judge asks you at adoption too, so it is good to have an answer.
