Receive July Monthly Stipend?
I have not. Worker is out sick so I want to know if I should follow up with the replacement. Have you received your stipend for this month?

They get mailed out on the 9th usually so I figured I will get her check tomorrow.

Since I have my first placement I was just wondering how the stipends are paid. Do you receive the check after the month has completed or at the beginning to cover expenses for the month in advance? My child came in the middle of June and haven't received anything yet except for clothing.

Mine came too...Higher this month. Did new rates go into effect?

Mine was missing one kid and the one I did get paid for was a little high too. For the monthly stipend it lists one rate but then paid 50 more. The clothing stipend seems to be ok.

I just got mine today... maybe the increase is due to back to school clothing,supplies, that are going to be needed. ?

why does monthly stipend lists usual rate but paid $50 more ?
I also received monthly stipend listing usual rate but they paid $50 more. Can anyone explain this increase ? Is it a permanent increase or what is it ? If the rate changed along with the payment, I would think it was a rate increase. But the rate didn't change, only the payment.

our caseworker said the $50 was ongoing, and every foster family received it as an increase to the rate.
