I have been trying to get are homestudy done for sometime now..We did all we had to do in Feb it is now July and I was told our paperwork is in Trenton but I just want to be approved already.
We have an emergency placement foster who is just wonderful however I just heard of a free to adopt medically fragile little boy that we are interested in but can't do anything until licensing comes..
Anyone have any ins are getting this done quicker..

Call your resourse worker every day and ask what's going on with your file! I can't stress it enough that your new friend will be a telephone and fax machine. There's probably one piece of paperwork missing or misplaced, but 4 months is average after all is said and done. Once the final home inspection comes in to aprove you then you're a foster home that day and calls will start flooding in.
