Question What would you do?? Advise Please....

My husband and I have our 2 nephews placed with us by DYFS for the third time (it has been going on for 7 years 1st time was 22 months 2nd time was 7 months 3rd time it has been 2 months already) We first got them when the baby was born with cocaine in his system and his brother almost 3 couldn't even use a fork or spoon. Second time ** was over medicating self & boys and BF let it happen(they live together). We had a family team meeting in August to try and prevent placement again. This time after 4 months of services (in home parenting - rehab - cleaning assistance) DYFS did a surprise follow up visit 2 weeks after services stopped 1/06 and they were doing cocaine (both ** & BF tested posative in court for cocaine & pot 2 days after removal) We had a visitation contract/ court order that they disobeyed, and visits went from 2 hours twice a week at grandparents home to 2 hours once a week at DYFS. Then during their drug-eval something happened ( I think they tested posative again) and the visits went to 2 hours once every other week at DYFS office. We told DYFS we want this to stop it is not fair to the boys etc etc etc and that we would be willing to adopt. Now for the first time ever our CW has told us that we are going to be going for a bonding evaluation. The BP have thier bonding evaluation today, ours is in the begining of April. The next court hearing is next week 3/23. I think this sounds promising. We asked them if we should hire our own attorney and were told it would be a waste of money that is what the Law Guardian and DAG are for. I still kind of wonder if we should hire an attorney anyway.
I wanted to know your thoughts on this. Any input on the whole situation would be great.Thank You
