Where to get a copy of your BC

How did you get a copy of your birth certificate? Thanks.

birth certificate

I went to the hospital in which I was born. They were able to furnish me with one, however..other friends of mine were told to go to the office of vital statistics in the town in which they were born. Hope this helps
