Starting the Process Again
Hi Everyone,
I just started the foster care process. Last Wednesday on the 6th YCS came out in did a Safety Assessment of my home. The only things I was told I would need for Bureau of License is a baby gate and electrical plugs in all my outlet in the apartment. I am going through YCS Infant Foster Home Program which places babies straight from the hospital. I am interested in taking an infant boy since I already have a 6 y.o. daughter. Just wanted to know what would I need for Bureau of License and just what do they look for when they come out to the home. I live in a very large 2 bedroom/2bath apartment on 1st floor. YCS loved my home and compliment about the interiors. Any advice on what to expect from Bureau of License? |
