Well,put my toes into the foster/adopt pool
dh & I went to the orientation meeting with DYFS last monday. We filled out the forms and are now awaiting the PATH classes in our area. There are none set up for the rest of this year.
I'm excited and scared, but happy that we've taken the 1st step. Barb

Hi Barb,
Welcome to the wonderful world of foster parenting LOL - hurry up and wait!!! I've been a foster parent for 2 years (this past Oct.) and I can tell you that, other than raising my 2 boys, it has been the most fulfilling thing I've done in my life! Best of luck to you and your dh. Enjoy your holidays. You'll have kids with you in no time at all. Michelle
