Somewhere in New Jersey!!

This is all new to me, I never felt like I belonged. I'm 38, got married at 21 -stayed married for 17 yrs. Just got divorced, 3 yr old daughter, 8 yr old son. It's rough, we have no family. The family I thought was mine 'kind of thought but knew somehow they weren't' were all much older and have all passed on. When I was 20 my 'Dad' passed away and my 'Mom' needed her ex husband contacted for SS purposes. He couldn't understand who I was, and finally after telling him 20 times he said' oh the little girl they adopted. I was gleeful. I KNEW I DIDN"T BELONG. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for being given to a family, God knows wht could of happened. Heres my need:
My Birth Cert has the father who raised me listed, this way I could be given the name legally and raised by him.
I was born in Cooper Hospital Camden /Glouster NJ on August 27 1965. My birth mother was 24 at the time , makes her about 62 today. Her name was Elizabeth Cheeseman (her name was listed on the birth cert). I was raised my Eddie and Betty Mckay, moved to FL about 1969-1971. Apparently Elizabeth (probably goes by Betty) still lives in the area, spoke to some older siblings b4 they passed & they said she still hangs out ay local pubs. I have 2 brothers that were 'given' away before me. I would have done something about this sooner, but that """wonderful""" husband I had for 17 years thought it was USELESS. Glad I got rid of him.
I know this is long & I really appreciate any help . Thanks for reading my story. Funny thing is I talk as much as I write.

HAve you tried looking under yahoo's people search. I typed in Cheeseman in NJ and a lot of names came up. There is a Cheeseman in Glouster City, NJ. It might be a start to just call a few Cheesman's to look around.
Hope this helps,
LeenaB

Thanks Leena, I did about 15 yrs ago, I totally disrupted this poor ladies life, I'm sure she still remembers. We were both crying, but she couldn't help. I'm not sure about doing it again I felt so bad. I am going to drive up this fall, I have some old pictures and addresses and a couple names. Maybe something will happen.
Thanks for trying.
Good Luck with your boys
