Anyone adopt from PA? We have, and...
We are adopting from PA, and our baby is due in two weeks. We were wondering if anyone has experience in PA, and how long they had to stay there while the inter-state compact paperwork was completed?
Our lawyer told us to plan on two weeks. Seems long, was hoping someone could weigh in. Thank you.

Sort of. We are in MD and our baby was born in PA but our agency is licensed in NJ and used NJ laws for this adoption. So our ICPC involved 3 states and it took 2 weeks. PA and NJ each were very fast but they were both "sending" states in our situation--not sure if that matters.
