I think an agency in Penn. is the VERY BEST its called Adoption Services. After bus. hours the line connects to the administrator home, also on the weekends, so you always get someone to talk to 24hours a day and they are so friendly. and they do their job well. I just cant say enough about them and also they will come to you.

choosing an agency

I'm mom to 2 beautiful girls that we adopted thru a nj agency. Just a word of btdt advice, be sure to research birth parent surrender laws/tpr laws in the states you are considering. For example, in NJ, a birthmom may terminate/surrender parental rights 72 hrs after birth if using an agency, and this surrender is irrevocable. In Pa, the wait I believe is 6 months before it is irrevocable. Both of our girls were in our arms at 72 hours old, albeit 7 years apart! We were in court finalizing at about the 6 month mark, not awaiting permanent tpr. Most , if not all agencies, have 24 hour support/services available. Best of luck!

Do you have the website address for Adoption Services in PA? If you do, please pass along.

Thanks so much.
