Hi Carrolynn, my name is Rachel and I was adopted through The Children's Home Society of Trenton, New Jersey. My alleged birthdate is 11/13/71, I know they changed birthdates back then because of identifying info. I have my non kdentifying info that says my Bmom's mom was a school bus driver and Bmom's dad a crane operator. Any of that sound familiar? If not, sorry to bother you. I have been searching for 5 years now. I did get my non-identifying information which had everything I wanted to know, except a name of course. See, when I got the information, the case worker asked me to come up to Trenton to go over her findings. She informed me that my bithmother was raped and that most rape victims do not want to see or know thier child. This of course up set me but your right, who knows if what she was telling me was true. It says I was born in Camden, but does not list the hospital I was born in. There are only 3 hospitals in Camden. I actually work in Camden too. It's like i seem so close but so far away. Hi, my name is Lauren and I am searching for my biological parents as well. I was born in May of 1976 in NJ. I have the same problem, where they put the town I was born in, Pt. I have had so many road blocks, it's heartbreaking. But I have some information that help you.
I do know of a women who is looking for her daughter that was born in May of 1976. I have written her a few times to see if she might have been my mother but no luck. On this website, go to born or adopted in 1976. I also replied to her post, but her name is Tracy. Let me know if I could be of some help. I have some letters that I saved from her, if you want, e-mail me your address and I can send them to you. I always look at it this way, if I could help someone come alittle bit closer to thier dream, maybe one day I might find my dream. Good Luck!!

Funny what you said about the hospitals. On my birth certificate there was no hospital listed. I was born in Jersey City, NJ. I later found out that the address it was, was the Door of Hope (a maternity home), that is no longer in exsistence. I recently found my b-family but am being rejected by them. Just wanted to give you some information that may help. If you need more help, let me know. Thanks, Sue

PS if you know the address, maybe I can find out what maternity home it was & if it still exists? Just a thought.
