I thought since this message board was all about people from new jersey, this might be a good place to repost my information about my moms mother betty sue witty.


Just for your info, this is my moms daughter, I'm searching for her mom.
All About Betty Sue Witty
Okay, my moms real mom is Betty Sue Witty, born feb 4, 1932 to Jean Ethridge and Cheever Witty. Papers say there is refernce to her having a little brother, but in fact research shows she may have had a half sister named virginia who's mother may have been May Miller.
Betty had a small heart murmur. She was german,irish, and part american indian. she was 5' tall and 100 pounds with reddish blonde hair and blue-gray eyes. she had a fair complection, small even features and was said to be rather pretty. she also has an allergyto strawberrys, they give her hives.
she was 20 years old when she had my mom, and 19 when she had my moms older brother. in 1953 she had another baby boy, who was probably my moms only full blooded brother, Their father was Art Marrone. he was 27 in 1952, and he was italian with an olive complection.he was 5'6 ,medium build,black hair and dark eyes. he went to college for 3 yearsand was in the u.s army.he had rheumatic heart disease since early childhood. He had a 29 year old brother. His parents owned and operated a restaurant which was probably the boonton. In 1955 she had a boy, a girl in 56' and another boy in 58 and another, in 1959.
Betty sue moved to massachusetts, married Charles keefe, and had 3 more Children, Charles Timmy and Kelly Keefe,
The marriage between her and Charles did not work out because he was an alcohalic.
One of these babies was adopted by an Albert Einstein relative, she was named Valerie and was an ice skater as a child.

So there you have it, 10 children, couple differant fathers, all given up so that they could have the love and stability she never had, which is stated in the documents.

My mom, the 2nd child born, was born at Saint Marys hospital, Passaic New Jersey on April 23 1952 and it's possibe her siblings were born there. Many of her siblings were in and out of fostor homes, especially her older and younger brother, until 1954 when they were out of the picture, and the 3 new babies from 1955,56,58 were born, than one in 59.
Art marrone was in fact found in Florida. he died in the 90's somewhere around 1996. Timmy Keefe was found and has some retardation or learning disablities, and he said that Kelly and Charles, his siblings, went with there mother, and she left him with someone else. After that no one knows where she went, but it is believed that their father, Charles keefe was found in Massachusetts. We still don't have any idea where the rest of the siblings are, OR where Betty Sue Witty is.
