Wondering about Birth Annoucements Myself

I have been wondering the same thing, I live in West Palm Beach,Florida, have been searching for my husbands birth family, he was born in St Petersburg, I am going to drive over there sometime in the next few months as time and hurricane season allows. I also am interested in finding out if , in the late 1950's bmom' s or attorneys etc had to place legal notices in the paper if the bfather was not around to sign consent forms, does anyone know ? Good luck in your search Patrick and to all searching the same............shade

Newspaper announcments

I just found this site and I was in St Elizabeths from March till May of 1969. Most girls went to St Francis for the delivery of their babies but there was a few exceptions. One gal went to Paul Kimbell in Lakewood, nj. I worked in the nursery the entire time I was at St Elizabeths. Hope this helps in your search.

Joanne, I gave birth to my daughter at St. Elizabeths 1/8/63. I found her in 1988. However, she was not placed with her biological parents till April 1663. How can I find out where she was for that time period. Thanks.

Patrick, I found my birth daughter by calling the Catholic Charities. The records are partially opened.
