Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art
During Christmas vacation, we spent a few days in the Berkshires and took the kids to the Eric Carle Museum in Amherst, MA. Its such a great place, only 2 hours from Boston. Of course, much closer for you folks in Western MA, northern CT and southern VT. Our son grew up on his books and DD is right behind. The Very Quiet Cricket is my personal favorite.
Unfortunately, the URL for the Museum site contains a retail link so I can't post it here. However, you can find it easily with a Google search.

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your time at the Eric Carle Museum, my son and I want to go there so badly! We are planning a trip there this summer. If anyone else has an opinion on the Eric Carle Museum, let me know about it at
