Good idea! Like my avatar says, I am proud papa to a 9-yo son and a 3-1/2 yo daughter, adopted as infants right here in Mass.
Looking forward to the "regional" exchange - I know there have to many fellow New Englanders out there. Many thanks to Karen for getting this going. ![]() Go PATS!! |

Roll Call...Again
I'm bumping this up. 44 hits to this thread and only 2 posts since Karen's suggestion for a roll call.
C'mon, New England. Where are you guys? |

we fostered our daughter in MA but moved to AZ a year before the adoption was final. You can take the gal out of NE but you can't take NE outta the gal!

Whoa - MA to AZ now that's a change!
Julie - glad to see you are matched again - I will hold my breath for you too! I guess it would help if I added myself in the roll call eh? I am coming up on the 1 year anniversary of the adoption of my daughter from St. Petersburg Russia. What an amazing year we've had - she is the coolest thing ever! She is our first child and when we get funds together again we would like to adopt another child. Who else is out there???

I'm LOL at this one. Yesterday, my son was talking about something that happened at school, and he described his best bud (this is 3rd grade, mind you) as a "chowdahead". Yep, you gotta love the accent. |

We had some friends a few years back that moved to the Phoenix area and they were amazed by the number of transplanted NE'ers there. Of course, they always say they miss the "seasons". Talk to me, though, when there's two feet of snow on the ground, LOL. Welcome to the NE forum. |

Hi all,
Just learned that a NE forum was started so I came right over! Fantastic idea - but I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to work at all anymore - I already check the Russian forum constantly during the day and now I have another Anyway, we are North of Boston and in process of adopting a little boy from Russia. We're hoping to go back for the 2nd trip in February. Brrrrrrrr. Looking forward to chatting with you all. Laura
