Well, to say I am searching is a big step. I have actually had coorespondence with my Birth Mother over the years. I have not been allowed to find her, don't know if I really need to. But, the Mother of my Birth Mother is truely someone I would like to meet. I need to thank her for her support in not letting her daughter have an abortion and for allowing me to be born and adopted by a great set of parents.
I understand that I have three half siblings. One (a girl) has passed on already. Two boys are now men with families of their own. Problem, no one but my Birth Mother's husband and Mother know I exist.
I was born in Omaha, January 1947 at Methodist Hospital. My Birth Mother was around 17-18 from a farming community around Eastern Nebraska. I know her first name starts with a V.
If this scenario sounds familiar I would like to hear from you. I figure my Birth Mother must be around 78 years old so my Birht Grandmother must be in her early 90"s.
Also, no mention of my Birth Father exists.
