Losing Sally: A Personal Reminiscence
As we celebrate and honor the mothers in our lives, this weekend is bittersweet for those of us whose mothers have died. My birthmother was my last surviving parent (my adoptive parents and birthfather died many years ago), and when she died a few years ago, I lost a true adult friend.
I'd like to share with you a few words I wrote when she died: Losing Sally. If you are remembering your mother(s) with words this weekend and want to post them, I encourage you to add them to the appropriate forum, or as a reply here. Nancy Ashe Editor
