Where is everyone????

Again this morning I check this site to see if there were any new posts and again I find NONE!!! Where is everyone from Montana? I know there are hundreds of us out there! I so want to find others who have been touched or affected by adoption so I can either meet you or e-mail or chat. Maybe there is a site in connection with people from Montana I don't know about.

I would give ANYTHING to find a support group or possibly put one together, but so far I think everyone from Montana are in hiding. I see lots of you are looking at the few posts, but no one is showing themselves.

Come out of the woodwork!!!!!

Thanks...Margene

and back again...

Kent (ferrisk)... Hey, thanks for replying to my post. I see there were 22 hits and now 1 reply. I also see on one of your posts you had 500+ hits and what 3 replys. At least we know that someone is out there. I only came aboard this site in February and had high hopes to get to the point to actually meet a birthmother to talk to.

AND....... you are not crazy!!!

How are things going for you? Up and down for me. I have done a lot of obesssing and now am reading so much my eyes are about to fall out.

Maybe if we posted something controversial, we would bring someone out of the woodwork.... So, if you can think up something let me know...

Hope things are going well with you. Margene

I wish you the best. I am sure it is hard knowing that she has been informed you are wanting contact, but hasn't made that decision to contact you yet. There are so many emotions that surface when faced with our past and being she really had to keep a huge secret, it is twice as hard for her. Are you able to send her further communication through the agency that located her for you? Keeping some sort of contact open, may prompt her to decide to make contact. I had a rather different experience when my daughter located me. She preceded to call my home and I was on vacation so my husband, without knowing who she was, gave her the number where I was. She called and the rest is history. I was so totally shocked. Have you ever been able to talk with another birthmother to get a sense of the emotions, etc.? It really helped me to read the many posts from adoptees to understand where my daughter was coming from. That is why a support group would be soooooooo helpful to all of us. But at this rate it is just going to be me and you.

I had a short contact with another adoptee on here named 'simplydelicious'. We instant messages a bit and then for some reason we had no more contact. I hope I didn't do or say anything to upset her. I know you had contact with her, too, as I saw from the posts. So she would make 3...... I guess a slow start is better than none. And, I hope to hear more from you.

I do hope this message finds you well today. Margene

To.....Brandy

Hi Brandy....I am hoping that this message will get to you as I have tried twice to e-mail you using the address you left in your post message and both came back. Technology

I am soooooo happy for you Brandy that you have found your birthmom and other family. I am anxious to hear all the details about your bmom and family. I am sure you are riding high right now as do most adoptees who locate after searching so hard. I hope it is all you have been looking for.

I haven't been checking my reunion related messages as often as I have had to distance myself a bit to let my mind rest a bit. I get too caught up...... So I just ready your post this morning 8/10.

Love, Margene

I'm here

Hello, Brian here. I'm just starting my search. I was born June 2 of 1969. I've just started gathering information to start my search. Unfortunately I have very little to go on. I assume that since this is the "Montana Adoption Records" section you all were adopted in Montana. I was hoping that I could get some information as to what did and didn't work for people as far as gathering information went for them. I'm aware of the CI program and plan to get in touch with them, but having a general lack of trust in government red tape I would just as soon press on as that process is set in motion. Any help is, of course, greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Brian

Looking in Montana

It's nice to see some activity in here. I am looking for my brother who was born in Havre Aug. 17, 1965. I hope to talk more with you. I have already found a sister (well, she found us) and my birth father. I just have this one final search, and I will be content.

Also looking in Mt

Hey I was beginning to think that I was the only one searching in MT!! It is great to see that there are people currently searching in our great State.
My name is Julie, DOB 12/14/1966 in Billings MT. I have gotten my nonid from Catholic Charities. They were suppose to send me the paperwork to petition the courts to try and get my file opened. Have not recieved it yet. Does anyone know if it is better to go with the Catholic Charities Intermediate or to just let the courts pick one? Also does anyone have a copy of the paperwork that needs to be filled out? Any info that anyone has would be greatly appreciated
