Just wondering... currently fostering a great little guy, both parents have signed over rights and I'll be taking the adoption classes in the next two months. Just wondering what kind of info to ask bio mom for (not even going to approach dad), or how to ask, or any helpful hints at all. I think she would respond since so far we personally have had no issues and little contact anyway... not sure how truthful it would be, but in any case I feel I should at least try. I may be able get some info through another foster family who has the younger sibs, one of whom is not yet TPR'd and so there is some contact there. jan

I would just ask her if there are any medical issues or concerns that you may need to know about should any situations arise that would be vital information for you or physicians, or school officials for that matter to know.

Just be friendly and polite when you ask and hopefully she will open up to you about anything that will be helpful for you to know. I hope all goes well.
