MY HUSBAND AND I ARE CONSIDERING ADOPTING THROUGH DFS. WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR OUR PARENTS EXPERIENCES IN USING DFS FOR ADOPTION, FOR IN-STATE OR INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS.
THANKS |

Missouri was great
to work with. I do think you will have to take some of those classes mentioned and even if you adopt out of state you will have to have some kind of special needs adoption classes for ICPC in most states.

Thanks Rinda for your help. I have another dumb question would anyone know where I could obtain a booklet or something like this that explains all the requirements for an adoption home and what all paperwork you will need for your home study? I have called my local dss and they transfer me to another county who handles the adoption/foster stuff for this area and everytime i try calling her in the past 4 weeks, she has always been out or on vacation. any info will be greatly appreciated.
