I know this is a long shot - but this was a home birth and his mother did not register the birth.

We know, through his older brother, that he visited his paternal grandparents in 1987 or 1988.

In Search Of My Family

We are not sure where he was born - but there is a recent photo of him and his mother. I am praying someone will recognize her.

I have just a bit more info. The bio father had some friends who were uncles of birth mother. The uncles names were Alvin and Bobby Emerson. They have both passed away now.

Now, from jail, his mother is insisting his father's name is "Joshua David Smith".

Mother's name was Lelah Jeanne Sullivan, although we know she used MANY alieses over the years.

Okay - out of leads. Nothing has panned out and we are STILL trying to break throught the rock wall that is denying this young man a Birth Certificate, Social Security number and a driver's license.

Technically - he doesn't exist!

Today we made an appointment with a lawyer - after over a year of being told over and over that this will take a court order.

Sheesh! What a pain!
