Exclamation W/F dob 11-08-70 ISO Birthfather

I was born at Fermin Desloge Hospital on 11-08-70.
I was born as J. Strake to my mother J. Strake.
I was placed at the orphanage in St. Ann for adoption.
My birthmother then "retrieved me"
from possibly the orphanage either by her story,
right before Christmas, or by Catholic Charities date
estimate of March, 1971. As a teenager I once
found notesaddresses from the sisters to my
birthmother about my well being.

My date filed on my birth certificate
is January 14, 1971. My birthmothers maiden name
of J. Strake is listed, so my birthmother and
step father were not married until approximately
April 1, 1971, at St. Monica's church in Creve
Couer. Her age is listed as 20. I believe she
was most probably in St. Ann, or Creve Couer,
at the time of my birth. She also was most likely
attending Florissant Valley Community College.
My name of my birth certificate is listed as
J.Birthfathers name.

Birth records show her address at the time of my
birth as Catholic Services for Children and Youth-
410 Lindell, St. Louis, MO 63108. I was admitted
at 1:30PM and she was discharged 11-11-1970.
My birthcertificate was signed 11-25-1970, received
1-11-1971, and filed 1-14-71. She had also been
previously admitted. Duratiin of labor shows 19hr
4 minutes, a breech delivery, and the time of my
birth at 7:59PM.

Catholic Charities was without any non-identifying
information. I have checked with them numerous
times over the years. And yes to others searching,
they do "find" new information that has been left out
previously. I discovered this when I dealt with
determining the dates I was placed in the orphanage.
I also noticed her birth year being listed as 48,
instead of the actual August, 1950.

I've also heard that my birthfather now has a
family of his own.

I am now almost 36 years old, with 3 children,
and I've struggled with having a relationship
with my mother since I learned of these situations.
She states that this man has never wanted anything
to do with either of us, and that she is afraid
for our wellbeing if she let me have the information
I am seeking. So the information that has been
provided to me by my biological mother, her family,
and my step father, have only sent my search spinning
into a million different directions.

I guess what I am finally finding the courage to do
is to see if anyone out there might want to anonimously
provide any information to assist in my search.
And to share my experiences with my search with others
here at this website.

Thank you.
born J. Strake 11-08-1970
