Heart Found and Lost In Missouri

I posted for my son on 9/12/06 and received a reply the very next day.
I had found my son after 39 years, only to have found a grave.
Todd Eric Reed died Oct.14, 1994, at age 27 of Lymphoma cancer in Columbia Missouri. His body was cremated and his ashes spread high in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
I also found his adoptive father, have met him, and received a beautiful picture of my son, as a toddler, from him as well. Ted Reed is a wonderful man. My son was blessed to have him as a father.
I emplore you to never stop looking for your birth child, no matter what you may find. It is very possible in the state of Missouri if you know your birth child's name to have a good chance of finding him/her. Never give up!
God Bless All of Us!

My heart goes out to you. I am an adoptee and pray that someone is looking for me. I am on all the registries and lists but no response yet, it has been years. Thank you for your inspiring story as it made me realize that it may not happen tomorrow but hopefully someday!

Thank You

I appreciate you sentiments. It has been overwhelming to learn of my son's death. But, I want you to never stop looking, because a young Mother gave you a better chance at life, at the expense of her heart. Always know you were loved and NEVER FORGOTTEN. You were separated from your Mother's arms, but never from her heart.
If I can help in any way don't hestitate to ask. Bless you sweet child.
Kate
