Kansas City Missouri - Connelly

I am in search of a gentleman with the last name of Connelly around the age of 58 or 59 (currently) that was in the ROTC in 1968 and received a commission to serve in the military during the Vietnam era. He would be of Irish/Italian heritage from a divorced family with younger 1/2 siblings.

thanks for sending me something - I just have a general description of him, nothing about where he was stationed or anything like that. Thanks again!

birthfather searching

This could be time consuming but is worth a try. I would contact the different school that offered ROTC in the '60s. This might be a matter of calling the districts. Then I would contact the school library and ask if anyone could do a quick look up in the year books. I always state that I do not live in the area and am doing some family research. If you live close enough alot of the libraries have high school yearbooks.

It could be worth your time to call a recruitors office with the limited info you have. I would try and speak with a female, she might be more sympathic to your cause. Just explain you are looking for a family member who was in the ROTC program and in 1968 went to Viet Nam last name Connelly. There are draft cards so maybe there is some type of ROTC roll call.
