Searching for my birth mother. I was born at Chaffee General Hospital, now closed, on 2/19/79. I know my ** lived in Scott County because my adoption wasn't finalized for 2 years since my adopted parents lived in same county. I rec'd non-identifying info..barely enough to go on. She was 5'2" 120, brown hair, blue eyes and was b/'w 15-16 when she had me. I was raised in Scott City. She would be around 42 now. My adopted parents are Jim Dodson and Jane Dodson (now Duncan). If any one has information or any knowledge that would help me, I would appreciate it!! Mother's day always kills me.

Hi, I am from Scott City and my husband and his father were born and raised in Chaffee maybe they will be able to help you in some way. Do you have any other info on your birth parents that might help? I will help you in any way I can I know what its like to search for someone and not be able to find them and nobody wanting to help you. I am searching for my brother born 1-3-1976 in Cape Girardeau Mo and have been since he was old enough to search for him. Did you go to school in Scott City? I graduated from there in 2001.
