ISO birth parents 4/1975 Mississippi
Hello
I am searching for my birth parents. The only information I have is that it was a private adoption handeled by a lawyer my dad worked with at the time. I was born in Jackson Ms. April 1975. My adoption had been kept secret and I knew nothing about it until 5 months ago. My adoptive family either cant or wont talk about it. I have tried to contact the state and obtain non ID info but have not yet been able to get this information. Ive hit many brick walls and am not sure as where to go to continue my search. I was told that I needed a lawyer but after contacting 4 and getting nowhere Im very frustrated. I live out of state but am a Ms resident. Jennifer

Have you tried going through all of the posts in the threads on this site for MS and for 1975? I know it's a lot of posts, but that's how my friend's birthfamily found us. Some of these posts go back many years, so you never know if someone might have been looking for you on here already. Check out the forums for MS and the one for 1975 for sure. There are other places to check back-threads, also. It may take quite a bit of time, but it could be well worth your time. Also, register your information on the reunion registry if you have not done so already.
All I had when I started my very first search for a friend of mine's Birthfamily was a birthdate and a county. 1 post on these forums and his birthsister saw it months later and contacted me. There is always hope and you will find a lot of help on these forums! Good luck in your search! Jamie

Call Judy Moulder at 576.7981 and see what she can tell you. I found out my court file (cause #) from her.
