looking for bgrandmother
my father was given up for adoption in natchez in 1931 by evelyn easterling who was about 18 at the time. please help me locate any of her family that might still be living. my father recently passed away and i have some medical concerns. thank you for your help.

Ideas:
You might be able to get his original birth certificate since he was born pre-50s. And possibly his adoption records for the same reason. You can check the 1920s census, contact a library about that. You can check obits of course... Maia trying to help ps there was an obit for an evelyn easterling (maiden name) higgins (married name) in bogalusa, which isn't too far from natchez. I know women often left town to give birth but this woman is too young, but perhaps she is a sibling and the ppl listed relatives?
