I am in search of my birth mother. To my knowledge her name was Jane Wheat and I was given for adoption in Pearl River County, Mississippi. This is around the Picayune / Poplarville area. I was born Sept 7, 1978. If anyone knows anything about the Wheat family or Jane please let me know.

Wow! There is a Jane Wheat located in Senatobia, Mississippi and I know of her. But there is a catch, I am also kind of kin to her. My birthfather is somehow related to her but I don't know him though. His name was Larry Mizell or Cleveland Lee Mizell.

I sent you a private message. If my aunt is your birth mom then she still lives in Picayune. Your birth grandparents have both passed and they have been the ones who pressured her to give you up. She only blurted this news to us a few years ago. If you are her child you have 2 sisters, aged 35 and 36. The younger sister was raised by Janes exhusband and the older was raised by Jane and her parents. The younger sister lives in Hammond but has not had anything to do with Jane for many many years as she has clung to her father and step mom. The older sister is my cousin and we grew up together and I know she is interested to know you. She and her husband and two teenaged boys live in Picayune. I live in Missouri since 1994 and have traveled several times back home. I sure hope this reaches you. I see you posted 2 years ago. God bless you.
