Hello fellow Minnesotans =)

I know this board doesn't have a lot of activity, but I thought I'd try anyway...

Did any of you receive a PM from a certain "adoption consultant" about a possible adoption situation? According to the message, an expectant mom is due in May and the family is specifically requesting a family from Minnesota.

I went to the website given and it sure seems like a scam.
Anyone else get this message?

It's my first scam (since we haven't even officially started any part of the process yet!) and it was a bit unsettling. Guess I better get used to it, huh?

Just FYI - assume anyone who has to use sites like this to find parents for children, while so many parents are waiting, are either scammers or the lowest of the low in regards to professionalism.

Our rules are clear. If they are breaking simple rules like this - imagine what rules they must be breaking to complete adoptions.

Disgusting and unethical - and not something that is unheard of here on the forums, sadly.
