1880's adoptions
Are there any records available for adoptions in the late 1880's in the state of Minnesota.

i would try going to the government center in mpls or to st paul, mn that would be a good place to start. if not they may be able to direct yo in the right path

Adoption records become public records in Minnesota after 100 years. So 1880s would now be public record. Try checking with the County of birth or adoption, if known. Or you could also try the Minnesota Historical Society. They have a website.
