my husband & I have been married for 7 1/2 years and are considering adoption. my husband was married once before, there were no children & they divorced. 2 years prior to our marriage my husband had a child with a woman whom he did not marry. is this going to be frowned upon?

What your dh did before you got married should have no affect your adoption.
Wish you the best |

A child from a previous relationship should not be a problem, I would think. Especially if he is being a responsible father to the child. What would matter would be a criminal history if their is one. And even then, from what I'm told it would matter on the country and what the offense was. Something minor should not be that much of a problem. You'll have to check with your agency.
