Round 2!
Hello everyone! A year and a half ago my hubby and I started the ball rolling with becoming an approved adoptive resource through local foster care. We did the classes and our home study...and right after we were approved as an adoptive family...my hubby got orders to deploy.
 So everything got put on hold, and now that he is back and settled in, we are wanting to get our information updated so we can again be approved to adopt through foster care.Has anyone else been in this situation? If so, what all did you have to update? We contacted our old adoption worker and are waiting for her to get back to us to find out what we need to do. I am sure we will need to update our home study and such...but I just want to be prepared.  And for the record...this was our first deployment and it was so hard...but we got through it! Yay!

2010 Jan - Started process with OKDHS!!!  April - Got approved!!!  - Got word that husband is deploying at some point for a year...our case is put on hold.  2011 August - Restarted adoption process!  **Currently waiting to be re-approved!  **
