Military Base Home Inspections

For those of you that have gotten (or getting) certified for adoption and/or foster care, I have a question about fire and health inspections. First of all, I have had a heck of time finding someone to do the inspections on base. And our case worker has told me 50 times that they need to have their own form and I keep telling her that they don't. I am going nuts, why can't they just use a copy of what the state uses?

What did you guys do?

This is kind of a vent, too!!!

I'm not sure what you're asking? For our homestudy, our SW inspected our home on base, no problem. If you have a caseworker, why isn't she inspecting?

Our social worker also did our home inspection, although we didn't have anything like a fire and health inspection. I suggest finding out exactly what they are looking for, then possibly check with either the fire dept. or your safety office on base.

Once your certified it should be all downhill!
