I was born February 1, 1968 in Seattle, Washington at Waldo General Hospital to a lady named Karen Johnson. I was adopted to Fred and Ann Marquiss family when was 9 days old. The only thing I know of my biological father is he was in the military and his name is Ron. He is of Italian descent and Karen lived with her father at the time of her pregnancy. She was adopted herself. She has since moved to Riverside, California. I am looking for my birth father, I have met my birth mother.

I don't know if this will help any but if you want current information on Waldo Hospital it is now part of the Virginia Mason system. The old building is used as headquarters for Campfire.

Your story sounds a lot like mine. I was born in late 1966 at virginia mason in seattle. My birth mother was twenty and my birth father was in the navy and 19 years old. I was adopted out of spokane by an air force family and grew up in Olympia. Apparently my birth mother had a very common first and last name so she is difficult to find. If you have more info on your father maybe we can compare. I was told he was 6ft 3 in tall and very skinny.
