Born in Germany 1946 - Female
I was born in Bad Tolz, Germany on June 15, 1946 and adtopted by American parents in 1948. My birth mother, Wilemenia Koch, (not sure how to spell first name), was 17 when I was born.
I was adopted by William Lewis Garrett, and Mona Lee Garrett in 1948. I am trying to find my birth mother, and found out from the German Consulate that she came to the United States in 1956.

Have you contacted the mayor's office where you were born asking about your birthmother? In Germany, you are required to register if you move from one town to another. Have you joined the german adoptee group? PM if you want more ideas.
