Hi,

I just was looking at my posting and found that you were there. I was adopted through an agency but don't know which one. As you know I was born on 6/16/1967 at Fort Monmouth in Oceanport, NJ. I was adopted in September of that year. My adoptive parents are unwilling to talk about the circumstances surrounding my adoption so I can only go on what I know. I'm glad you rechecked your posts! I was looking for the birthfather back in January. He was in the Army and I was trying to track down the the different bases in NJ. Are you actively searching? I will send you a pm.

Thank you for getting back to me. I am slowly getting up the nerve to look for my birth parents. I was born at Fort Monmouth which is in Oceanport New Jersey. The unfortunate part is that the hospital on the base was shut down for a while and then within the past 10 years was reopened. I do not know if any of the records were destroyed or kept. I would love to have any help possible. I had accidentally posted the incorrect birth date. It is 6/19/1967.
