My precious daughter,

I have been waiting a long time to meet you. I hope you have had a wonderful life.

If you have found your records you will know there are 2 different names on the paper work. You should not worry about them. I married one out of desperation to give you a home and it didn't work out. While we were in annulment I met the other. He wanted me to himself. He isolated me from family and friends. He was abusive even before you were born. He had me so mixed up in the head that I believed you were to be safe any where except with me. It took some time but I got my head back together and got rid of him but it was too late to get you. And I'm sooo sorry for that.

Little by little I became stronger and stronger to get to where I am today. I have a family that loves me and I love them. They know about you and will welcome you with open arms if that is what you choose. Your great grandfather is still alive and wants so much to meet you before he passes.

I also have a surprise for you. I have had contact with your father after 17 yrs. We have spent the last few weeks working through what happened and why. He is married now with 2 young children. But he informs me that you are always on his mind. I still care about him to some degree but nothing like I did before.
