FIA Adoptions in Michigan
Seeking any advice about adopting ward of state (toddlers) in Michigan.
We have a 3 yr old son whom we were blessed with through Adoption Associates; we would like to adopt a child younger than him. We have contacted Spectrum Human Services and the next step is to update our homestudy. Please offer any suggestions before we go in head first.

I contacted FIA directly in Bloomfield Hills the main office, I was told to check their site www.mare.org I learned though there are not alot of infants through the state to adopt. If you are looking for an infant it is best to look out of state or become a foster and then hopefully you will receive an infant that is up for adoption.
Just what I found out I hope it helps.
