My husband and I are in the process of an international adoption from Guatemala. We are waiting on referral of an infant boy. Our timeline is as follows:
Homestudy completed 3/04 Fingerprinted for INS 3/19/04 Foreign dossier to agency for authentication 4/21/04 Waiting on INS approval to accept referral, should have approval within next 4 weeks or so. Travel to pickup our son 4-6 months after acceptance of referral provided there are no complications!! |
