We were foster parents and wanted to adopt. There was an
allegation, which led to an investigation. The agency decided to
remove the children (not our own) while they completed their
investigation. They never returned them. They turned us over to
the FIA, and in the end we were cleared. But they still took our
licence. I was devastated over the loss of the children and didn't
feel up to fighting them. It's been several years and we have
healed. We want to do it again? Has anyone gone through any-
thing like this? Can you be licenced again, possibly through a
different agency?

If you were cleared, I don't see why you couldn't be relicensed. I would post your question on the special needs adoption thread and see what those exoerienced parents have to say!
