I am new to the group. I am single and want to adopt a child. Havent talked to my mom about it yet since here in India it is very difficult to conivnce parents.

However would talk to her as soon as possible. I read all the threads and they are highly motivating. It becomes much easier to decide. Please keep in touch everyone

I know how you feel about talking with your parents.

I'm from the U.S so stuff's a bit diffrent
but i was still afraid.
So What I have slowly done is say things about it to get the feel of how they would react and then take it from there
and it's worked out good I found they are totaly suportive of it.

Hope you have the same reaction I have.
